    DIRECTIONS


    Kimberley, BC is located in the south eastern corner of British Columbia, within a 20 minute drive from Cranbrook Airport, the closest regional airport:

    Driving Directions:

    Arriving from the South-
    Drive north on Highway 95A. Proceed through Marysville into Kimberley. Stay on 95A until you come to the traffic light in the center of Kimberley. At the traffic light turn left to Gerry Sorensen Way. Follow Gerry Sorensen Way up the hill towards the resort area (about 5 minutes from downtown). Drive past the Kimberly Alpine Resort on the right hand side and proceed another 1km up the hill, around the hairpin turn. Take the next right - Silver Birch and Mountain Edge signs are visible at that point.

    Arriving from the North-
    You will be traveling south on 95A. When you get into Kimberley, go straight through the traffic light in the center of the town. Follow Gerry Sorensen Way up the hill towards the resort area (about 5 minutes from downtown). ). Drive past the Kimberly Alpine Resort on the right and proceed another 1km up the hill and around the hairpin turn. Take the next right - Silver Birch and Mountain Edge signs are visible at that point.

    The nearest town and Greyhound bus station is Burns Lake, located on Hwy 16 halfway between Prince George and Prince Rupert. Our guests travel from Burns Lake on Hwy 35 south to the Francois Lake Ferry landing. A short ferry ride takes them to Southbank from where they continue to travel on Hwy 35 to Grassy Plains. At the Country Store one turns right onto Tatalrose Rd. for about 17km until you reach Wilson Road on the right. Junoca Resort is only a few hundred meters further, located at the end of Mund Road.

    We are located in downtown Rossland, British Columbia, a 7 and a half hour drive from Vancouver and Calgary, and just minutes away from world famous Red Mountain Resorts.

    Rossland itself is famous for the deep gold deposits discovered in the crater of an ancient volcano here in 1890, as well as for being the home of the 1992 Winter Olympics.

    The two mountains towering over Rossland ( Red and Granite) offer some of the best runs for both hard-core and intermediate skiers/boarders, made up of pure natural Kootenay powder, 2900 vertical feet, over 1200 acres of skiable terrain and a cheap lift ticket.

From Vancouver take highway #1 eastbound and follow it onto #3 until the turnoff for 3b. From Seattle take highway #5 north then turn onto #2 eastbound. Take highway #25 northbound, cross the border just after Northport and continue on up to Rossland.

    From Spokane, Washington Rossland is 210 km due north via US Highway 395 through Chewelah and Colville, turning right on to Highway 25 at Kettle Falls.

    From Langdale to Roberts Creek
    By Bike: Please email or call for the most scenic route
    By Bus: Take either the Highway 101/Sechelt bus or Roberts Creek/Sechelt bus which often meets the ferry.
    With the Highway 101 bus, get off at the top of Roberts Creek road, by the fire hall, and walk down (left) Roberts Creek Road. UTC is about 200m down the road on the right hand side at the intersection with Krause Road.
    With the Roberts Creek bus, get off at the Gumboot, and walk up Roberts Creek road, past the school and historic church, and after 10 minutes UTC will be on your left at the intersection with Krause Road
    By Car: Drive on the highway to Roberts Creek road, and turn left. UTC is 200m down the hill on the right.
