    From San Francisco Airport:

Exiting San Francisco Airport, go Northbound on Hwy 101 (Bayshore Freeway). Continue into the City on 101, which will progress from James Lick Freeway into Van Ness Boulevard and Lombard, following the signs to the Golden Gate Bridge. Cross the bridge. Just past San Rafael, turn toward Napa exiting onto Hwy 37. At the intersection of Hwy 121, take that left. You'll still be heading for Napa. At Hwy 29 turn North through Napa and the Napa Valley. To avoid going through the small towns of the Napa Valley, you can take the Silverado Trail which goes up the East side of the Valley and generally has less traffic.

If you are on Hwy 29, it takes a right turn at the flashing red light at Calistoga. If you go up the Silverado Trail, turn right at the stop sign at Hwy 29. Stay on 29 out of town and up and over Mt St Helena. When the road starts to straighten out on the other side of the mountain, you'll see a road sign for Lake County. Two miles past this sign turn right onto Hilderbrand Drive. The road passes over St Helena Creek and curves to the left. Ours is the third driveway on the left, the yellow and white house. The cottages are hidden behind the fence. You'll see the sign and address out front.

    From the East Bay:

From the East Bay, take Hwy 80N to Hwy 37W to Hwy 29N to Napa. Continue North on Hwy 29 through the Napa Valley and Calistoga at the end of the Valley. To avoid going through the small towns of the Napa Valley, you can take the Silverado Trail which goes up the East side of the Valley and generally has less traffic.
