Property DescriptionWe are a Bed & Breakfast surrounded by green space in the middle of Washington, DC, located just over one mile from the U.S. Capitol Building. Our inn consists of two spacious early 1900’s Victorian townhouses. The beautifully renovated Inn, gracefully mixing the old with the new, features nine spacious guest rooms now with private TV (HBO & Showtime), telephones and T-1 access available, creating the perfect atmosphere to pamper and revive the traveller. Our guest rooms all have shared bath facilities. All rooms have one queen bed and are air-conditioned. Start your morning at the Bloomingdale Inn with our generous continental-style breakfast served in the kitchen every morning between 8:00am and 9:30am. The usual fare includes seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt, English muffins, whole grain toast, Fresh Belgian Waffles, assorted jams and marmalades, assorted dry and hot cereals, juice, fresh-ground French Roast coffee, and tea. Guests are welcome to relax in one of the three lovely sitting areas or on our cozy front porch. Washington, DC tends to have a long spring and a long fall season. We have two beautiful cats living here. Try us when visiting this city for our historical charm and friendly, warm and inviting staff. Consider us your home away from home! This warm urban bed and breakfast is a wonderful vacation alternative to conventional hotels. Thankfully, it is also near many of the city’s top attractions.
