Property DescriptionChelsea International Hostel is located in the historic Chelsea area of Manhattan between 7th and 8th Avenues on 20th Street. We are close to midtown sites and right next to Greenwich Village. This is the safest area in Manhattan located across from the 10th Precinct and we also have security personnel on duty 365 days a year. We provide 2 common dining areas and 2 common kitchens for our guests with TV, plus one recreation room. You can also use our laundry facilities to catch up with our domestic duties. Services at the Chelsea International: - Linen, but you provide the Towels - Lockers, but you provide the Locks - Coffee and Tea are always available in the kitchen area - FREE PIZZA! New York Pizza is provided on Wednesday Nights for our guests only - Subway and Bus Maps are available in the office A PASSPORT IS REQUIRED to Check In NO EXCEPTIONS A MINIMUM OF THREE NIGHTS STAY FOR RESERVATIONS FOR ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS. ADDRESSChelsea International Hostel 251 West 20th Street New York, USA DIRECTIONSFROM JFK= You would take the air train that will drop you off on Howard Beach subway stop. There you will take the train A direction into Manhattan, and get off on 14st. When you get off on this stop you will want to walk towards the 16st. exit to be closer to the Hostel. We are located on 20st between 8th and 7th ave. BY BUS FROM JFK= There are buses outside the airport that take you into port authority for a certain price, may not be more than $20. Then you can take a cab to our location or the C or E train to 23st. stop. LGA= If you wish to take a bus you will have to take them outside the airport that will take you into port authority or the Carey buses that will drop you off across the Penn Station. Or you can take the M60 bus and get off on 110st and Broadway. There you can take the 1 train direction downtown and get off on 18st. We are on 20th between 7th and 8th ave. NEWARK AIRPORT= BY BUS you can take the Olympia buses that are outside the airport and they will drop you off across the street from Madison Square Garden. Then you can take the trains listed above towards our hostel. BY TRAIN you can take the NJ transit that will drop you off @ Penn Station. MAP |
