Property Description'Kootenay House' Hostel is located at Glacier House resort. A fun 4 star Outdoor and Spa resort located in nature just north of the town of Revelstoke. Our newly built log hostel features 6 comfortable private rooms with 2 twin beds each on the second floor. The downstairs features a large living room with leather couches and chairs, mini bar area and seating area. We have satellite TV and a large 8 person hot tub on the deck that overlooks the Begbie Glacier. The main lodge features a great on-site restaurant and pub, outdoor patio, indoor pool, sauna and another indoor jacuzzi. A full outdoor program offers (heli) hiking to our alpine hut at 6200ft, canoe, kayak, ATV and mountain bike tours and rentals, boat tours and free volleyball and badminton. Enjoy the BC Rockies at affordable prices at the quietest place in town. In BC you are subject to 8% room tax and 6% GT (as of July 1 2006). This is not included in the price.  |

Follow the Westside Road north from the Western side of The Columbia River bridge. Coming from the west: Turn left at the first traffic lights (Westside road) and follow road 7 kms north. Coming from the East: continue through 2 traffic lights and turn right onto Westside Road once you are across the Columbia River Bridge. Pick up from Revelstoke Greyhound station daily from 9 am to 7 pm. $ 10 round trip. Call 837-9594 |
