Property DescriptionOur hostel is located north of downtown Halifax, only 5 minutes walk to the waterfront and all the other major amenities. Halifax Backpackers is owned by two young and experianced backpackers. We provide a friendly, personal atmosphere based on our own travel experiances. We are the only hostel that provides insider local information (because we are locals!). We offer private and dormitory rooms at very reasonable prices. For your convenience we have an onsite organic fairtrade cafe and second-hand bookstore. We also have Friday night BBQs making it easy to meet other travellers. Tuesday night is 'Ultimate frisbee' night. Halifax Backpackers exemplifies the grass roots community spirit that makes Halifax worth visitng.
