ADDRESS Hotel Kangaroo 300m south of hotel Jaco Fiesta Jaco, Costa Rica DIRECTIONS From San Jose (the capital), take a bus at the Coca Cola Station, and just tell the bus driver where you go he will drop you of right in front of the door!!!! if you have a car, the hotel is located close to the southern entrance of jaco, drive toward hermosa beach, take the last entrance to jaco, drive along the beach...

This place does is not that great - certainly doesnt deserve to be the Lonely Planet editors pick for Jaco. - No free breakfast as advertised - Pool was green and unswimmable - Air conditioning in my dorm was broken. - Kitchen sink was blocked for 2 days. - Overall not at all clean, many rooms smelt very musty.   Read Owner Comments

Great staff - very welcoming and friendly. Fun people to hang out with. Def stay here if you're a surfer, as there are a lot of them here. Only problem is that the place is about a 15 min walk from town (or a $1-2 taxi ride), however it's right by a very beautiful, secluded part of the beach. Nice A/C and quiet. Recommend it.

we had a bit problem to find the place ,but after a phonecall we found it a simple hostel but verry nice staff verry close to a the beach and nearby the centum of jaco . There is a nice dog and i fall in love with a small black kitty cat
