Property DescriptionOur spectacular B.C. Douglas Fir dove-tail log building fronts the raging Kicking Horse River and has a breath taking view of the Purcell mountains and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort (which was rated the #1 small resort by Ski Magazine and #1 for powder snow by Skiing Magazine). The lodge features a two-story den with quiet reading nooks, an entertainment area with a 50-inch large screen tv, card tables, lockers, self-serve laundry facilities. We have a well-equipped self-catered kitchen facility that offers everything you need to chef up your own gourmet meals. We will have an outdoor ice rink which will host nightly hockey and broomball matches during the winter and we have a beach volleyball court in the summer. The convenient location is just minutes from the amenities of downtown Golden and only a 10-minute shuttle ride from the resort. We offer Dorm Rooms, 5 Private Rooms, and 10 Large Loft Rooms for families or larger groups.  |

ADDRESSKicking Horse River Lodge 801 9th Street North Golden, Canada DIRECTIONSFrom Calgary (HWY 95) take the first left into town at the bottom of the Golden Hill, travel down the overpass and take the next two lefts, first onto 10th ave, and then onto 9th st North and follow this street for one block. From Vancouver take the first right into town off the highway until you reach 10th Ave. take a right on 9th st north. From the South drive through town on 10th and turn left when you reach 9th st North. |
