Property DescriptionWe offer budget Bed and Breakfast accommodation to international travelers, with affordable rates. We offer clean, basic and good accommodation in a beautiful, spacious home, featuring a large garden shaded by grape vines and surrounded by fruit trees, where you can relax on the patio. Our two rooms are bright clean and beautiful. Each room has high speed internet access, and there are laundry facilities and a phone for free local calls. There is also a computer available with unlimited free access for web surfing and checking E-mail. We serve full, delicious and nutritious breakfasts that are acclaimed by our guests as being amongst the best that they have ever had. This is the the place where you will be pampered. COME TO THE LITTLE RETREAT; MEET THE CHEF AND YOU ARE WELCOME TO SOCIALIZE WITH OUR GUESTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD. We can easily accommodate special dietary and nutritional needs. Transfatty acids, MSG, and other harmful substances that may be found in typical restaurant foods are NEVER used in our food preparation. Authentic Belgian waffles with mounds of fresh fruit, genuine Canadian maple syrup and fresh whipped cream are one of our specialties. Professionally prepared Cappuccino and Lattes are made with freshly roasted coffee beans from the best local microroastery in Vancouver. We are located on Capitol Hill, Burnaby, in a wonderful, safe and charming European style neighborhood that has fast and convenient transportation to downtown Vancouver. It is just a 5 minute walk to the end of the street which will take you to a great golf course. Unfortunately, we do not take pets, or children under the age of ten. ADDRESSLittle Retreat 5228 Frances Street Vancouver, Canada DIRECTIONSFrom the airport: by bus. 1. Take a bus from the airport to downtown Vancouver. Then, take the 135 Bus going to S.F. U. Burnaby. Tell the bus driver that you will get off at Springer St. 3. Please take note that Frances street is only a block away from the bus station. (You need to walk down Springer Street). 4. 5228 Frances Street ( Burnaby ) is the second house from the corner. We are on Frances St and Springer. From the airport by car: 1. When you drive out of the airport you will be automatically be on Grant McConachie Way. 2. Cross over the Arthur Laing Bridge and stay in the far right lane. 3. Take the South East Marine Drive Exit. 4. Drive along Marine Drive and turn left onto Boundary. 5. Turn Right onto Lougheed Highway. 6. Turn left onto Willingdon. 7. Turn right onto Parker. 8. Turn left onto Springer. 9. Turn rignt onto Frances St. We are on 5228 Frances St. BURNABY. If you are driving by car from the U.S., once you are in Vancouver, look for Broadway Street. 1. Drive along Broadway Street and you are going East. 2. Please note that Broaway Street will become Lougheed Highway. 3. Driive along Lougheed Highway and turn left on Willingdon Street. 4. Turn Right into Parker Street. 5. Turn left into Springer Street. 6. Turn Right into Frances Street. We are on 5228 Frances Street, Burnaby. |
