New York's cleanest and only place where you will find just 6 dorm beds in a spacious 350 sqft space with attached granite bathroom with tub and a kitchenette on every floor. Internet kiosk. Paid parking garage closeby .. Minimum stay 3 nights. Weekly, monthly packages available. Just 20 minutes to Times Square. The 1 and A train connects you to about every major tourist destination from our stop 168th street. Office hours 10.00 am to 8 pm. Check in is between 2 pm to 8 pm. Late fees of $20 for check in after 8 pm - 10 pm and $40 for check in between 10 pm - 1 pm. Full payment on arrival. Guests arriving late after 8 pm must let us know in advance. or they could loose the booking. No check in without government ID's. Bookings worth over $250 have to make a additional 25% advance payment directly to the Manhattan youthcastle via CC. Contact the hostel after the booking is made. No shows will be charged the full nights stay if booking is for 7 days or less. For booking greater than 7 days it is 2 days charge for booking value upto $250. Our subway stop is 168th street _ Columbia Presbyterian Hospital ( 1 or the A ) How to reach us from the JFK airport: Take the Air Train from JFK that stops at Howard Beach/159th avenue and it is a 12 minute ride. Transfer to the 'A' express train that is going in the direction of Inwood-207 Street /Broadway. Get off at 168th street stop. Take the elevator and thenlook for the exit sign marked 169th street and Broadway. That offers two options. Take the right exit marked 169th street and St.Nicholas Avenue.You will come out on St.Nicholas avenue. Keep walking straight and take a right on 173rd street. After 2 minutes you will see a gated town house marked 556 Manhattan Castle. Travel to and from JFK to Howard Beach station. Via Air Train is $5 each way . You pay additional $2.00 per ride for the subway. How to reach us from the Newark airport: Take the NJ Transit from the airport train terminal to 34th street Penn station and transfer to the 'A' express train that is going towards Inwood-207 Street /Broadway. Get off at 168th street stop. Take the subway stairs exit marked 169th street and Broadway. That offers two options. Take the right exit marked 169th street and St.Nicholas Avenue.You will come out on St.Nicholas avenue. Keep walking straight and take a right on 173rd street.
