Relax in our charming 7 bedroom Bed & Breakfast, circa 1916, in the heart of Canada's capital, Ottawa. We offer comfortable, charming, clean and economical hospitality in a superb location close to all downtown Ottawa has to offer. Situated in the Golden Triangle bounded by lively Elgin St. and a bend in the Rideau Canal, we have a south view onto a pretty, shady park across Frank St. from our sunny front porch. Frank St. and the park provide a tranquil retreat in the middle of all the hustle of our busy capital city.

Just steps away at the end of our block are numerous fine restaurants, cafes, Starbucks and the Museum of Nature. Our house was renovated in the 1970's adding all of today's modern amenities while retaining the proportions and grandeur of a century home. Rideau Inn is intimate with only seven bedrooms, two with private, en-suite baths, all with in-room telephones. Guests have the exclusive use of the large ground floor living room, porch, dining room and sunny roof deck.

Our unique, air conditioned bedrooms are furnished with antiques, and some have private baths, sun porches or a fireplace. Guests have lots of space to enjoy in the guest living room, verandah, dining room, equipped kitchen and private roof deck. We offer economical rates and discounts for students, YHA members and longer stays. Included are free newspapers, magazines, breakfast, e-mail access, luggage storage and more.
