Property Description

The Planet Traveler’s hostel is located in downtown Toronto in the heart of Kensington market. A unique multi-cultural community located between trendy little Italy and the shops on Queen St, Kensington Market features retro clothing, furniture and music stores and is renowned for having the freshest and most ethnically diverse food in town.

We have nice comfy rooms, a TV/video room, full kitchen, free internet, free sat night BBQ on our outdoor patio. The hostel is small, very clean and friendly. The staff are seasoned travelers and know what makes a good hostel.

Our location is a great home base for your Canadian adventures. The friendly atmosphere makes it a great place to meet other international backpackers.

DIRECTIONS

There are 3 ways of getting to the hostelfrom the airport

You can either get a taxi staright from the airport which will cost you around $48 and takes you straight to our door.
There is an airport bus which costs $15 and takes you to downtown bus station. From there you can either get the dundas street car (tram) to Augusta or walk directly to the hostel.
The cheapest way to get here is to get public transport. You take the airport rocket from the airport to the Kipling subway station. Take the subway to Spadina station and then the southbound street car to Dundas. This whole journey costs $2.50, easy and cheap!!

From Greyhound Bus Terminal (505 Dundas Street West):
From bus terminal take Dundas Street Car ($2.50) or walk 15 minutes west to Spadina. Walk 2 short blocks west to Augusta, we are situated on the right, no 175.

TTC from Union Station:
Take Harbourfront Street Car ($2.50) heading to Spadina and get of at Dundas. Walk 2 short blocks west to Augusta.
