You may also be asked to provide proof of current international travel. People under the age of 16 are not permitted to stay in dorm rooms. From Hollywood: We have a door-to-door shuttle between our hostels in Hollywood and San Francisco for $45 each way. That's cheaper than Greyhound and way more comfortable and convenient! Ask us for departure times and reservation procedures if you're interested. From Greyhound: From Greyhound's Transbay Terminal: Exit the station onto Mission and turn left, walk to the intersection. Turn right onto 1st Street and continue to Market St. Cross to the opposite side of Market Street and turn left, make a slight turn onto Sutter Street and continue on Sutter Street to Taylor Street. Turn right onto Taylor Street, we're on the left-hand side. It's a distance of about 9 blocks. For more information please go to www.greyhound.com. From Amtrak: From Amtrak's Shopping Center Station (SFS), exit the station and cross Market Street. Walk up Powell Street (street starts at Cable Car turn around) to Sutter, turn left onto Sutter. Walk two blocks to Taylor Street, turn right - hostel will be on left-hand side of street. For more information please go to www.amtrak.com. From Airports: From the Oakland Airport, take the AirBART shuttle to the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station. Take a train in the direction of Daly City, Millbrae or San Francisco Airport. Exit at Powell St. Station. From the San Francisco Int'l Airport, go to the BART Station found on Level 3 of the International Terminal and take a train in the direction of Dublin or Pittsburg. Exit at Powell St. Station. From BART's Powell St. Station, follow directions above from Amtrak station. For more information, please go to www.bart.gov. Driving: From the 5 Freeway South, take Highway 505 South, or from the 5 Freeway North, take Highway 580 West, then from either Highway merge onto the 80 Freeway West via the exit on the left toward San Francisco.
