Property DescriptionThis is a great urban hostel located where the fun is in Edmonton's historic Old Strathcona neighbourhood. We're just off Whyte Avenue, the coolest strip for shopping, pubbing and clubbing. It is near the University of Alberta and across the river from the downtown core. Everything you need is within walking distance with the infamous West Edmonton Mall a quick bus ride away. Our guests say 'Great location, great staff, great place!' Winner of the 1998 Ivy Devereaux Award 'Best Urban Hostel' Attention international guests: To use hostels you should be a member of a national Youth Hostel Association recognized by the International Youth Hostel Federation. If you are not a member, you are required to either - pay non-member rate ($4 CDN more each night) - purchase an Membership when you arrive at the hostel for $24 CDN (one year membership for international guests or $35 for a two year membership for Canadian guests, or - purchase a membership from the nearest Youth Hostel Association Office before you start your journey  |
