Property Description

The Mayacama Mountaintop Retreat is a secluded five acre estate offering one unique and truly romantic dwelling ~ Clair de Lune Cottage.

The property is located on top of the Mayacama Mountain Range, in the heart of Sonoma's wine country, and Jack London's Valley of the Moon and just over the ridge from Napa Valley.

Clair de Lune cottage is a newly built round cedar cottage nestled in a secluded oak grove, with a Jacuzzi tub for two, indoor and outdoor shower, gas fireplace, small kitchen, wrap around deck with views of the creek & meadows below.

The estate is walking distance to Hood Mountain Park and only 4 miles to Spring Lake, and is surrounded by thousand of acres of uncivilized California oak woodlands and yet is only minutes from the best wineries in the region.

Horticulturist & Naturalist Luther Burbank described Sonoma as 'the chosen spot of all this earth...' for its ecological diversity and its spectacular natural beauty.

Please Note: We require 50% of the deposit to be paid at least 5 days after booking. The remaining 50% must be paid at least 2 weeks before the arrival date. Outside of the 10% booking fee, is not possible to get a refund of this payment.

DIRECTIONS

From San Francisco, Take Hwy 101 over the Golden Gate Bridge thru Marin County to Sonoma County and Santa Rosa.

From the bridge it will take you about one hour to reach Santa Rosa. From 101 take Hwy 12 exit going toward the town of Sonoma. Hwy 12 has a stop light at Farmer's Lane, take a left onto Farmers Lane and continue for several blocks until you see a sign for Hwy 12 going toward Sonoma.

(There are shops & restaurants on Farmer's Lane, including a restaurant we highly recommend Lisa Hemmingways).

Continue on for about 10 minutes until you reach Los Alamos Road.
