ADDRESSFat Salmon Backpacker's Hostel 3250 3rd Avenue Port Alberni, Canada DIRECTIONSWe are located in the middle of Vancouver Island, British Columbia - right on the Alberni Inlet, made famous by the Tsunami of 1964. Take Highway 4 from Victoria or Nanaimo, and follow it north west all the way into Port Alberni, turning left onto the Alberni Highway (at the Alberni Valley information centre/Chamber of Commerce). This road turns into Redford Road. Follow it to the end, and turn left onto Gertrude Street. Gertruse Street turns into 3rd Avenue. We are on 3rd Avenue, number 3250, two blocks before the corner of Argyle Street, in the heart of "South Port", Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Look for the bright yellow house with the brilliant purple sign above the door! |
