We are within walking distance to the 2nd largest China Town in North America and historic Gastown, the original Vancouver. The hotel was built in 1914, modernized in 1986 and ongoing thereafter. The west facing rooms have a great view of the city and harbour. While staying with us visit our pub for fantastic beverage specials and affordable meals. Taxes are not included in the rates shown.

Driving :
Follow the Downtown Vancouver signs over the Arthur Lang Bridge, staying in the far right lane take the East exit onto SW Marine Drive.
Travel SW Marine Drive to Knight Street North (right turn immediately after the overpass, Knight St. turns into Clark Dr. at 12th Ave.)
turn left at Hastings St. (west) for 7 blocks to Dunlevy.
Approximate driving time: 15-20 minutes

Airporter Bus:
The Airporter bus will take you to the train station, from the train station a cab ride is approximately $5. The Mint Green Airporter bus is $10 one way, or $17 round trip

Cab:
A cab from the airport to the Patricia is about $25

Border
I5 turns into Hwy.#99 at the U.S. border.
From Hwy. #99, exit Hwy. #91 (North) follow Hwy. #91 towards Richmond / Vancouver (not Hwy. 91A),
exit Knight St. (approximately, 5 miles North, Knight St. turns into Clark Dr.)
turn left at Hastings St. (West) 7 blocks on the right at Dunlevy.

Bus/Train Station
Exit the station Main street is the second street directly in front of the Station.
Main Street North (right) to Pender Street (6 blocks) turn right (east)
for two blocks and turn left onto Dunlevy (north) 2 blocks, the hotel is on the right at Hastings.

Public Transportation is available in front of the hotel.

From Vancouver International Airport take the Airporter bus to the Pacific Central Station.

From the Pacific Central Bus/ Train Terminal take the #3 Downtown or #8 Granville bus north bound to the corner of Main and Hastings ( approximately 2 to 3 stops away). From there catch the #10 Hastings or #20 Victoria to the corner of Princess and Hastings and look for the green awning (approximately 3 stops away).

If you would like to take the scenic route and decide to walk to our hostel from the Pacific Central Station (approximately 20 minutes away), walk north bound on Main Street to the corner of Main and Pender Street. From there make a right turn on Pender and walk along Pender to the corner of Pender and Princess. Make a left at Princess until you reach Hastings Street and then look for the building with the green awning.

From the airport by car:

People wonder why this hostel is so cheap? There are a few things that makes our hostel a bit different then the others. We dont run it like a hotel; We don't have 24hours check in, summer office hours are from 9 AM to 11 PM with lunch break from 1PM to 3PM yuo get the key and you can come and go anytime there is no corfew. We are not super clean, it is a old biulding.but funky and a lot common areas

We have age limit maximum 35. smokers friendly Our staff are a bit slow and service is not eccelent, our atmosphere is super friendly We are a midium size hostel and not so institutional, or perfect no flashy advitising or renovations at travellers expences but we have free beer on saturdays in summar and we have repeat customers and a lots friends

We have lockers, kitchen, laundry, patio, pool table internet 25 cent for 15 minutes and our rooms are bigger than any other hostel in town 300sqare feet even the double rooms

So if you dont mind our old fashioned hostel with character and dont need luxuries or fancy things book now becouse otherwise you wouldn't find any bed since we had the same price for 21YEARS and thats is important for a traveller like you.

BY WALKING: Exit bus depot and cross park to Main St. turn right and walk five blocks to West Pender then turn left and walk six more blocks to Homer St. No Parking but you can rent a space in a local garage for $6.00 a day. We have no pick up sevice from the airport.
