Take the main exit from the parking lot and continue along Grant McConachie Way. You will end up on the Arthur Lang Bridge. Take the Granville St. exit and continue on Granville until you arrive at 16th Ave. Turn left at 16th Ave and continue west 3 blocks to Burrard. Turn right on Burrard and continue straight 16 blocks to the very bottom before you cross the Burrard St. Bridge. Rather than crossing the bridge, get into the left turning lanes which will lead you onto Cornwall. From there, turn second right into Cypress and the second cross-street is Creelman, 1855 house is on the corner, can not miss it!

Directions from the Canada - US border

Once you cross the border at Blaine, you are on HWY 99. Continue on that route until you cross the Oak Street Bridge into Vancouver. Remain on Oak St. until you get to 22nd Avenue. Turn left on 22nd which winds North West and becomes 16th Ave, travel across Granville St. then about 3 blocks further to traffic lights at Burrard. Turn right on Burrard and continue down 16 blocks to the very bottom before you cross the Burrard St. Bridge. Get to downtown Vancouver via the Lions Gate Bridge. The roadway off the bridge through Stanley Park becomes Georgia Street. No exits are required. Proceed east on Georgia Street turn right on Burrard Street (south) and continue onto the Burrard Bridge. Bear right off the bridge onto Cornwall Avenue West and the 2nd street to your right is Cypress. People wonder why this hostel is so cheap? There are a few things that makes our hostel a bit different then the others. We dont run it like a hotel; We don't have 24hours check in, summer office hours are from 9 AM to 11 PM with lunch break from 1PM to 3PM yuo get the key and you can come and go anytime there is no corfew. We are not super clean, it is a old biulding.but funky and a lot common areas

We have age limit maximum 35. smokers friendly Our staff are a bit slow and service is not eccelent, our atmosphere is super friendly We are a midium size hostel and not so institutional, or perfect no flashy advitising or renovations at travellers expences but we have free beer on saturdays in summar and we have repeat customers and a lots friends

We have lockers, kitchen, laundry, patio, pool table internet 25 cent for 15 minutes and our rooms are bigger than any other hostel in town 300sqare feet even the double rooms

So if you dont mind our old fashioned hostel with character and dont need luxuries or fancy things book now becouse otherwise you wouldn't find any bed since we had the same price for 21YEARS and thats is important for a traveller like you.

BY WALKING: Exit bus depot and cross park to Main St. turn right and walk five blocks to West Pender then turn left and walk six more blocks to Homer St. No Parking but you can rent a space in a local garage for $6.00 a day. We have no pick up sevice from the airport.
